Bellevue Resort is a hospitality development that is a prime example of creative landscape architectural solutions to complicated and tight sites.

The first major change or improvement was the entry point, driveway and actual entry portal. The site had the disadvantage of having only two narrow rights of way, because a large residence
blocked most of its main frontage. From the main entry, a winding entrance driveway leads to a free-standing resort-style welcome pavilion, which is surrounded by lush landscaping. The winding
driveway provides a unique sense of arrival for guests and more landscape treatment to buffer the property from view.

From the welcome pavilion, the guests enjoy an unobstructed view of the sea with the infinity edge pool visually linking landscape. The consultants prepared a design that would provide an infinity
edge pool containing both kids’ and adults’ pools, as well as a scuba training pool. The organic shape presented provided a good frame for the three pools. A cantilevered elliptical view deck provides a
focal point for the composition. The final pool design is one of the most photographed aspects of the resort.
